God called us to invade darkness just as the light invades a room. We are to aggressively take over or occupy the environment around us through Christ Jesus, the Light of the world. Christ Jesus lives inside us as a light that shines in our personal lives first before becoming an expression of the light within us for the world to see.
This shirt was inspired by Matthew Chapter 5: 14-16. "You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead, they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven."
The Scriptures say, "God commanded the light to shine in the dark." Now God is shining in our hearts to let you know that His glory is seen in Jesus Christ. 2 Corinthians 4:6.
We are the children of light! So let's shine like our heavenly Father.
